CREATIVE CONNECTIONS COMMUNITY
I’m a big fan of online learning, but sometimes I miss chatting in real time!
My Creative Connections virtual community gathers artists from different locations, near and far, to paint together live online once a month.
In between our live sessions, there’s a private Facebook group where you can get questions answered, share your work, and celebrate your accomplishments. I’ll check in to answer questions but you can always start conversations with your fellow artists and even look back at discussions in the group going all the way back to 2021.
This is a welcoming community ready to support you in your creative practice, wherever you are on your journey and wherever you are in the world. Our next session starts in January. Join us for a great start to the new year!
Dedicate this time for yourself each month to explore the artist you intend to become. I hope you can join us live, but no matter where you are in the world you can watch the replay whenever it’s convenient for you. Don’t miss this!
Our next 4-meeting session begins in September 2024! We meet once a month online via Zoom, and chat while painting together for 90 minutes.
>> REGISTERATION: Contact me for the latest information on each session and to register or get on the wait list. I keep the group small, so spaces fill quickly.
These images are details from work the artists in previous sessions created in response to prompts and group discussions.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Join your new friends each month to explore techniques you've been trying to master: either by working during our sessions, or asking questions about your challenges in art, business, and your creative life.
Benefits of the group include:
6 hours of online group creative sessions over 4 months
Art challenges, done live online!
Monthly creative prompts
A creative community to answer questions and keep you motivated
Opportunities to share your work
Encouragement as your work evolves
Resources for creative inspiration
Accountability to keep you focused
No matter what medium you work in, the shared experience is always much more important than the methods of creating. Many of our artists have some experience with encaustic painting, but we’ve had folks working in other mediums including watercolor, quilting, photography, acrylic, and collage. It’s exciting to see how many of these materials can be combined!
This group is for artists who are comfortable working independently, but who might need a little support along the way.
Many members have recently started showing and selling their work, so those discussions arise regularly. If you have a question or need support, we’re here for you!
