Embracing Magic Art Retreat in Ireland
I am finally back in Oregon after three weeks of painting and leading my Embracing Magic art retreat in Ireland. I also spent an additional week in France (more on that later). WOW! I still don’t quite know what time zone I’m in, but I’m eager to get back to my studio.
I have tons of photos and stories to share, but first I want to thank Lora Murphy at Essence of Mulranny for hosting this retreat (and also hosting Painting with Fire!). She is a talented artist and a generous soul. 💕
I also want to thank the FABULOUS artists who joined me on the retreat for their enthusiasm and willingness to experiment as they encouraged each other throughout our time together. I’m so impressed with the work they created, and I’m really excited to see what comes next!
Our wonderful local guide, Colum from Columginnelly Bus Hire, is insightful, funny, and really brought the history of the area to life. There are hundreds of possible paintings to be inspired by my stories and images from this trip, but in the meantime, scroll down for a peek beyond the studio during my Embracing Magic art retreat.
>> MORE BIG NEWS! I’ve already been invited back to teach at the Celtic Convergence retreat in Ireland this October! I haven’t even finished posting photos from last trip yet but of course, I said YES. If you missed my last trip, here's another chance. Will you be there too??? Let me know in the comments!
This will be a spectacular gathering of encaustic painters from around the world. Join me at Celtic Convergence, the International Encaustic Artists fantastic retreat!
